It has, in fact, been hotter than normal.

Last month was the third-warmest November on record, and this fall was the fourth-warmest in the Old Pueblo, according to a climate report from the National Weather Service that confirms what many Tucson residents have probably been thinking.

And a near-record high is expected Wednesday, according to the weather service. The high that day is expected to be in the low 80s. The record for the date - 83 degrees - was last set in 1939.

The average temperature in November was just shy of 65 degrees, which is 5 degrees warmer than usual, the report said. The average high temperature was 79.6 degrees.

Two weather systems brought rain, mountain snow and cooler temperatures in the middle of the month.

And temps rose again during the last part of the month, making the four-day Thanksgiving weekend the warmest on record with an average temperature of 67.1 degrees, 1 degree above the previous record from 1950.
