The recipient of this week's Ben's Bell is Travis Fischer.

Fischer, who works at the Tucson Jewish Community Center, was nominated by Kristin Taft and Barney Holtzman for his dedication to his work.

Fischer has worked for the JCC for six years, five of which he's spent working for Special Needs Services, the letter said.

Taft and Holtzman praised Fischer for his passion.

"He has been an invaluable member of our team and a terrific advocate," the letter said. "He is truly caring and understands each of our special-needs participants."

Fischer is often recognized for his efforts by other departments and members of the JCC.

"He is recognized for his spirit, his commitment, his energy, his outgoingness, and his hair," the letter said.

Taft and Holtzman wrote that on top of his job duties, Fischer also spends a lot of time volunteering at the JCC.

"He exudes such a positive energy, which is contagious to all those around him."
