The recipient of this week's Ben's Bell is Carl Liaupsin, director of the Emotional and Behavioral Disorders program at the University of Arizona's College of Education.

He was nominated by one of his students, Hanna Vishny, who said Liaupsin "is one of the most influential professors I've ever had the privilege to learn from."

Vishny has had Liaupsin as an instructor for two semesters and wrote in her nomination that he "incorporates real life examples in to the classroom and cares about producing high quality future educators."

"He is incredibly devoted to our academic and professional success, so much so that he offers us help at any time of day or night," Vishny wrote.
