A woman was arrested this week at the Nogales border crossing with eight pounds of heroin wrapped around her midriff, officials say.

Maria Veronica Martinez, 37, from Fresno, Calif., was crossing into Arizona Monday when she was pulled over for an additional inspection.

She was searched after a drug dog alerted to her Dodge sedan and agents found a single package of heroin taped under her bra, according to a news release from U.S. Customs and Border Protection. The nearly eight-pound package had an estimated street value of $123,000.

The drugs and vehicle were processed for seizure. Martinez was turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations.
