Burn Buster Blast set for Foothills Mall

Rescue helicopters, a vintage firetruck, singing firefighters and more will be at the Foothills Mall on Saturday for the annual Burn Buster Blast, a free event for all ages.

The fire-safety education event organized by the Northwest Fire District, runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the mall's east parking lot and inside the mall at 7401 N. La Cholla Blvd.

In addition to safety simulators, rescue equipment and first-responder vehicles, demonstrations and displays, there will be a jumping castle and face painting.
