Tucson will remain mostly dry and hot at least through early next week, according to the National Weather Service.

Any thunderstorms that pop up will likely be east of Tucson for the time being.

High temperatures in Tucson look to actually increase early next week, topping off at around 106 to 107 degrees.

However, the weather service said some moisture in the form of thunderstorms or showers could creep into the greater region beginning Tuesday. But chances appear slight that storms will actually reach the Tucson metropolitan area, the weather service said.
