• A 55-cent-an-hour pay raise referenced in Wednesday's story "Raises for city employees pitched" on Page A6 was recommended by city Human Resources Director Lani Simmons but was not part of City Manager Richard Miranda's formal budget recommendation.

• "Free shredding event is at Ward 2 office," Thursday on A7, included an incorrect date for the event. It's Monday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the Ward 2 City Council Office, 7575 E. Speedway. You can have one box of documents shredded for free. If you want more than one box of documents destroyed, a donation is requested of $5 per additional box, or the equivalent in nonperishable food items.

• Sam Credio's last name was misspelled Thursday on A2 in a photo caption accompanying "Life-size nude dancers in bronze finally adorn 4th Ave. underpass."
