• "Jan. 8 memorial could be at historic downtown courthouse," Sunday on A1, included incorrect information about the whereabouts of Gabrielle Giffords' then-spokesman C.J. Karamargin the day of the 2011 rampage. He was not at the scene when the shooting broke out.

• "Street Smarts: Once member of Confederate army, Drachman prospered as tobacconist," May 21 on A2, said prominent Tucson businessman Samuel Drachman was a school trustee when Tucson High was built. That refers to the original Tucson High, now the building that houses Roskruge Bilingual K-8 school, 501 E. Sixth St.
