The fight started about 2:40 a.m. on Feb. 17 as a 45-year-old woman, her 21-year-old son and a friend, 40, left the bar at 1302 W. Roger Road, Deputy Tom Peine, spokesman for the Pima County Sheriff's Department, said in a news release.
The trio stopped to smoke on their way to the parking lot and a group of men and women "came out of the bar and approached them making antagonistic remarks directed at (the woman's) son. The taunting continued and suddenly the behavior escalated into a physical assault," Peine said.
