An arrest has been made in the assault of three people outside the Outlaw Saloon on Feb. 17, the sheriff’s department said Friday.

Michael Thomas Russ, 31, is facing three counts of aggravated assault. He was booked into the Pima County jail.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department said at least 10 people were involved in the assault of the woman, her son and a friend at the bar. All but one of the suspect’s have been identified.

The sheriff’s department said it is looking to identify a man seen in video footage from inside the bar.

Anyone with information can call 911 or 88-CRIME.

The fight started about 2:40 a.m. on Feb. 17 as a 45-year-old woman, her 21-year-old son and a friend, 40, left the bar at 1302 W. Roger Road, Deputy Tom Peine, spokesman for the Pima County Sheriff's Department, said in a news release.

The trio stopped to smoke on their way to the parking lot and a group of men and women "came out of the bar and approached them making antagonistic remarks directed at (the woman's) son. The taunting continued and suddenly the behavior escalated into a physical assault," Peine said.
