Police said foul play is not suspected in the death of a man whose remains were found in a west-side wash Wednesday night, a police official said.

The decomposing remains were found at about 5 p.m. by teens playing in the wash near West Ironwood Hill Drive and North Greasewood Road, said Sgt. Chris Widmer, spokesman for the Tucson Police Department.

The man has yet to be identified and a cause of death has not been determined, but Widmer said the man was not a victim of homicide.

The investigation is ongoing.
