Pima County Superior Court Judge Richard Fields sentenced two more people Wednesday in connection with a videotaped brawl at the Outlaw Saloon.

Cody Bryant Berkbigler, 25, and Kenneth Nierenberg, 38, both received four years probation for the February bar fight that left three people injured. One person was treated at a hospital.

“I’m deeply sorry,” Nierenberg said. “It’s not a good reflection of who I have become over the past 10 years.”

Nierenberg’s attorney Natalie Prince said her client was not an instigator in the fight, but joined the fray when he saw one of his friends get involved.

Berkbigler also apologized for the fight, saying his actions were not justified. “I’ve learned my lesson,” Berkbigler told the judge.

Both men pleaded guilty to aggravated assault for the fight at the bar, 1302 W. Roger Road.. Both men also were ordered to pay $7,944 in restitution.

Ten people were arrested in connection with the fight. Others in the case have already been sentenced.
