A 20-year-old Tucson man died in a single vehicle crash Friday morning on Interstate 19.

Eric Parra was driving a white Honda Civic northbound on Interstate 19 near the San Xavier exit shortly after 7 a.m. when he, "for unknown reasons, went off the road and hit a tree." Officer Dave Hopkins, spokesman for the Department of Public Safety, said.

Parra, who was the sole occupant of the car, was not wearing a seat belt, Hopkins said. He died at the scene.
