An 18-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an April 4 shooting on Tucson's south side that left one man dead and two injured.

Dimitri Romero was arrested Monday for his suspected involvement in the shooting death of Marcus Johnson, 23. Romero is facing one count of first-degree murder and two counts of attempted first-degree murder, Sgt. Maria Hawke, spokeswoman for the Tucson Police Department, said in a news release.

The incident occurred outside a home in the 1100 block of East 32nd Street near South Park Avenue. When officers responded to a shots-fired call, they found Johnson dead in the street, and learned another shooting victim had been driven to a hospital.

Investigators later learned there was a third shooting victim, a man who suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, who left the scene before officers arrived.
