A man who pleaded guilty to aggravated assault for participating in a brawl at a northwest-side bar was sentenced to three years' probation Tuesday in Pima County Superior Court.

Robert James Russell, 42, pleaded guilty for his role in a fight at the Outlaw Saloon, 1302 W. Roger Road, in February that left one man injured.

The injured man was one of three people attacked the night of the fight.

The others included his mother and a friend. The three had gone outside the bar to smoke when they were verbally and later physically assaulted.

At least nine other people have been arrested in connection with the fight.
