A Utah man was sentenced to four years in federal prison for transporting a minor with intent to have sex with her.

Jordan Munah Yow Choy Anthony, 21, of Pleasant Grove, Utah, will also be placed on lifetime probation and have to register as a sex offender.

Anthony pleaded guilty in November.

In 2011, Anthony used the Internet and a cell phone to communicate with a 14-year-old girl in the Tucson area, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

In March 2011, Anthony traveled from Utah to Tucson to pick up the girl at her residence. He traveled with the girl to Galveston, Texas, with plans to go to Florida.

On March 18, 2011, Anthony was arrested in Galveston by local police.

He was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Raner C. Collins.
