A man shot at a midtown bus stop Friday evening has died, Tucson police said.

Jajuan Gordon, 31, was taken off life support Tuesday afternoon and pronounced dead at a hospital, police said in a news release.

Detectives learned Gordon was sitting at a bus stop in the 6700 block of East Golf Links Road, east of South Wilmot Road, when he was confronted by a group of men.

During the confrontation one of the men shot Gordon, police said. The men then ran west from the scene. No arrests have been made. Gang detectives are assisting the investigation because at least one person involved has gang ties, police said.

Anyone with information can call 911 or 88-CRIME.
