A man suspected of shooting a woman walking her dog on the far southeast side in March of 2010 turned himself in to detectives Thursday morning.

Ronald Michael Motisko, 34, was booked into Pima County jail on suspicion of attempted murder after he turned himself in to detectives, said Deputy Dawn Barkman, a Pima County Sheriff’s Department spokeswoman in a news release.

On March 1, 2010 a woman had been walking her dog in the 12600 block of East Los Reales Road when she was found lying in the street around noon, the release said.

She told deputies she felt a sharp pain in her side and was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, the release said.
