Tips from the community have led to seven more arrests in an assault on three people outside a north-side bar.

The attack occurred about 2:40 a.m. Feb. 17 on a woman, her son and a friend outside the Outlaw Saloon at 1302 W. Roger Road, said Deputy Tom Peine, a Pima County Sheriff's Department spokesman.

Arrested this week were Cody Berkbigler, 24; Samuel Ramsey, 29; Robert Russell, 42; Marty Russell, 41; Alan Nierenberg, 38; Amanda Pandola, 30; and Reid Pandola, 30, Peine said.

All were arrested on suspicion of three counts of aggravated assault and booked into the Pima County jail, Peine said.

A total of eight have been arrested in the case. Michael Thomas Russ, 31, was arrested Friday, also on suspicion of three counts of aggravated assault, and booked into jail, Peine said.

Investigators are searching for two more participants in the assault. Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.

The fight started when a 45-year-old woman, her 21-year-old son and a 40-year-old friend left the bar. The three stopped to smoke on their way to the parking lot, and a group of men and women "came out of the bar and approached them making antagonistic remarks directed at (the woman's) son," Peine said.

"The taunting continued and suddenly the behavior escalated into a physical assault," Peine said.
