Nearly $4 million worth of marijuana was seized in a shipment of tomatoes on Wednesday at the Nogales commercial port of entry, officials said.

The Mexican national driving a tractor-trailer rig was arrested after agents found nearly 7,400 pounds of marijuana in the trailer, according to a news release from Customs and Border Protection.

On Wednesday, CBP officers sent Cuauhtemoc Lopez-Cabrera, 30, of Nogales, Sonora, for additional inspection of the rig he was driving. After a drug dog alerted officers to the presence of drugs in a shipment of tomatoes, they found 315 bales of marijuana worth an estimated $3.7 million.
