A man arrested in connection with burglaries of two businesses in Oro Valley ago is now linked to 25 other cases on the northwest side.

This account was given by Deputy Jesus Bañuelos, a Pima County sheriff's spokesman:

Richard Thomas Houseman, 38, was arrested April 17 by Oro Valley police and booked into the county jail on two counts of burglary and one count of possession of burglary tools.

An investigation by deputies and Oro Valley and Marana police has linked Houseman, through DNA, to other burglaries in which about $5,500 in cash was taken from medical offices and other businesses in January to April. The break-ins caused more than $5,000 in damages to the businesses.
