Tucson police are asking the public for help in identifying two masked men in connection with three armed robberies of convenience stores on Sunday.

The robberies, in which no one was injured, occurred within an hour at the following locations:

  • 11:11 p.m. at the Circle K at 8702 E. Speedway.
  • 11:45 p.m. at the Quik Mart at 4477 E. Fifth St.
  • 11:57 p.m. at the Circle K at 3541 E. Fort Lowell Road.

In all three robberies the men, who are believed to be about 20 years old, walked into the stores with handguns, said Sgt. Chris Widmer, a Tucson Police Department spokesman.

One man demanded money from the store clerk while the other man stole food, liquor and cigarette products from the shelves, Widmer said.

He said both men, who were captured on surveillance cameras, were described as either white or Hispanic.

One man was wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt and tan shorts, Widmer said. The other was wearing a black baseball cap, a white and gray long-sleeved shirt and jeans.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
