Three people have been arrested in connection with the April 2011 death of a 54-year-old man found lying on a sidewalk on Tucson’s south side.

Michael Celaya, 42, Jessica Miranda, 27 and Luis Howard, 29, were served arrest warrants last month in connection with the death of Terry Caldwell who was found with “obvious signs of trauma” shortly before 2:30 a.m. on April 16 last year near an apartment complex in the 5800 block of South 12th Avenue, said Sgt. Maria Hawke a Tucson police spokeswoman in a news release.

Celaya was already in custody at the Pima County jail related to a separate incident when he was served the arrest warrant on July 19. Miranda was arrested on July 23 and Howard was found at an apartment complex in the 1200 block of East Ajo Way by U.S. Marshal’s Tuesday afternoon, the release said.

The trio were arrested on one count each of suspicion of first degree murder, aggravated robbery and auto theft.
