A 71-year-old Tucson man was arrested, accused of uploading child pornography to an email server at his residence, police said.

David Erickson was booked into the Pima County jail Thursday and is facing 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, said Sgt. Chris Widmer, a Tucson Police Department spokesman.

Earlier this month, the department's Internet crimes against children unit began an investigation after receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about the uploading of child-porn, Widmer said.

The investigation led detectives to a home in the 5900 block of East Golf Links Road where a search warrant was served, said Widmer. The neighborhood is east of South Craycroft Road on Golf Links.

Evidence was found that implicated Erickson, who was the only one living in the home, Widmer said.
