A Tucson man who was linked to downloading child pornography was arrested Thursday, police said.

Mickey Bennett, 37, faces 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor and was booked into the Pima County jail, said Sgt. Pete Dugan, a Tucson Police Department spokesman.

Detectives of the Internet crimes against children unit developed information that led them to the 1300 block of West Franklin Street.

The neighborhood is north of West Congress Street and east of North Silverbell Road.

After serving a search warrant, detectives located evidence that implicated Bennett in downloading and sharing child pornography, Dugan said.
