A 67-year-old Tucson man who was having an illicit online relationship with a teen in Minnesota was arrested Wednesday.

Gary Duane Keith faces four counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, said Sgt. Chris Widmer, a Tucson Police Department spokesman. Keith was booked ino the Pima County jail.

The Rochester Police Department received information that a 13-year-old girl was having an online relationship with an adult male, including the sharing of child pornography, Widmer said.

Investigators found out the man was portraying himself as a teen, said Widmer.

Investigators contacted TPD’s Internet crimes against children unit, and the joint investigation led to a search warrant of Keith’s home in the 4200 block of North First Avenue, near East Limberlost Drive.

Detectives found multiple videos depicting child pornography, and evidence of Keith’s communication with the Rochester teen, Widmer said.

Detectives also found out that Keith assisted in youth ministry at a local church. Police would not release the name of the church.

Investigators are concerned that Keith may have had inappropriate contact with other teens, and ask that anyone with information call 911 or 88-CRIME.
