A 28-year-old Tucson man is facing charges that he posted pornographic images of children on the Internet, police said.

Michael Ray Hill was booked into the Pima County jail and is facing three counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.

In January, an Internet service provider notified the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that someone had used its services to post child pornography online, Tucson police said.

The center contacted Tucson police, who began an investigation.

On Thursday, detectives searched a residence in the 9700 block of East Bennett Drive, in the Rita Ranch area, and located three images of child pornography in the home, police said.

Hill was then arrested. Police said the investigation also revealed that Hill may have been communicating online with underage boys.

Anyone who may have had contact online with Hill is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
