A man who tried to lure a teenager for sexual purposes was sentenced to three years’ probation on Monday.

Pima County Superior Court Howard Fell sentenced Mohamad Rishard Packeer after he pleaded guilty to solicitation to luring a minor for sexual exploitation. Packeer also must register as a sex offender.

He was arrested after police found an ad he placed on Craigslist seeking women of all ages.

Police responded to the ad, posing as a 14-year-old girl. Over several days of online conversations, Packeer sent sexually explicit messages and requested a meeting.

Police arrested him at the meeting site.
