An Ironwood Ridge High School teacher was arrested Monday on suspicion of sexual misconduct with two students.

Melissa Ann Dalton, 33, was booked into Pima County jail on four counts of sexual misconduct with a minor, said Lt. Kara Riley, a spokeswoman for the Oro Valley Police Department in a news release.

School resource officers from the OVPD were notified of allegations against Dalton and the case was handed over to the department’s Criminal Investigations Unit, Riley said.

According to the high school’s website Dalton is an art teacher.
