Tucson police have confirmed that two people were shot in a midtown neighborhood Tuesday night.
The condition of the two or the circumstances of the shooting were not immediately available, said Sgt. Maria Hawke, a Tucson Police Department spokeswoman.
At 7:36 p.m., police were dispatched to a report of a shooting in the 4500 block of East 28th Street, Hawke said.
The neighborhood is between South Columbus Boulevard and South Swan Road.
