UA student grabbed by assailant

A University of Arizona student was grabbed on the thigh by a man near her resident hall Monday afternoon.

The assailant approached the woman and prevented her from entering her resident hall near East Fourth Street and North Highland Avenue, acording to a UA Police Department campus alert.

The man then grabbed the woman's thigh.

The incident happened at 12:20 p.m.

The man left the area in an unknown direction, according to the alert.

The man was described as white, and between the ages of 25 to 35. He was 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighed between 150 to 175 pounds. He had long, blonde curly hair.

He was wearing a long, white T-shirt, tan shorts, and a blue bandana on his head.

Anyone with information can call 911 or 88-CRIME.
