Fort Huachuca firefighters are working with Coronado National Forest authorities to contain a wildfire burning in the Huachuca Mountains, authorities said.

The blaze has burned 20 acres, but officials expect it to be contained within the next 24 to 48 hours, a Fort Huachuca press release says.

The fire, which began on Friday, is burning on Crest Trail in the remote elevations of the mountains.

Forest Service officials dropped seven tankers of slurry on the fire overnight and have sent more than 100 firefighters to fight the blaze.
