Police have released the name of a woman who died in a fiery car wreck Wednesday.

Alina Bourger, 21, was killed when the silver Toyota Corolla she was driving burst into flames after a midtown collision. The two-vehicle crash occurred just before 11:30 a.m. on East Aviation Parkway at 22nd Street.

Bourger was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of a black Mustang was taken to a hospital with minor injuries, said Sgt. Maria Hawke, a spokeswoman for the Tucson Police Department.

Traffic detectives determined the Mustang was traveling west on East Aviation, and the Toyota was making a left turn onto 22nd Street, Hawke said. Bourger did not yield the right-of-way to the driver of the Mustang and the cars collided.
