Three people were injured early this morning in a rollover on East Grant Road near North Campbell Avenue, authorities said.

One victim was partially ejected and was pinned under the vehicle, which was resting on its side, Capt. Chris Jurvig of the Tucson Fire Department said in a news release. Fire Crews used cribbing -- a structure that support heavy objects to stabilize the vehicle and remove the person, Jurvig said.

All three patients were transported by Tucson Fire Paramedics to a local hospital. One was in critical condition.

Car crashes are the leading cause of death among those ages 5-34. Serious crash-related injuries and deaths can be reduced by approximately 50 percent by wearing seat belts.
