Look for new vendors at the Bear Canyon Open Air Market, which is reopening Saturday after a hiatus.

The market will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays through the end of May at the northwest corner of East Tanque Verde Road and East Catalina Highway.

Organic produce and eggs, tortillas, jams and jellies, fresh baked breads and more will be available, along with work by local artists.

BBQ 4 You and “the best hot dog guy ever” will sell prepared foods, too.

There’s plenty of parking, and the market is handicapped accessible. Vendors, including nonprofits, are welcome to participate. Vendor fees are $15 for a 10-foot by 10-foot space.

Upcoming events are Sept. 21, with a focus on prickly pears, and Sept. 28 with the fifth annual “everything chile” festival.
