Saturday’s concert was the first of four Arizona Symphonic Winds performances being held at Morris K. Udall Park, 7200 E Tanque Verde Road.

All the concerts are free and begin at 7 p.m. Bring a blanket or lawn chair, and a picnic if you like.

The remaining concerts of the season are on May 24, May 31 and June 7.

The group is led by conductor László Veres, who was a music educator for 30 years in Tucson.
