How’s this for a colorful event: The Neon Bubble Dash, which benefits the Arizona Children’s Association, is a nighttime run and foam party that illuminates the sky all along its 5K route. Participants run, walk, skip or dance their way into the foam-infested Neon Zones and Glow Caves throughout the course. All participants receive free entry in the “Get Bubbly” foam party after the race. The event is 6:30-9 p.m. at Southwestern International Raceway, 12000 S. Houghton Road. $50 until Friday; $55 day of race. 1-602-316-8895.

2. April 4

Jonny Lipford will present a Native American-style flute concert and workshop at Abounding Grace Church, 2450 S. Kolb Road. The workshop is 3-4:30 p.m. and the concert is 6:30-8:30 p.m. $25 for both; $15 for each. 1-908-917-2307.

Learn more about sculpture from University of Arizona Museum of Art docent Johanna Stein at a UAMA Art Talk from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Murphy-Wilmot Library, 530 N. Wilmot Road. Free. 594-5420.

4. April 26

Mark your calendar for a bilingual puppet show for all ages presented by puppeteer Gwen Ray at the Kirk-Bear Canyon Library, 8959 E. Tanque Verde Road. “The Three Little Pigs” will hit the stage from 2 to 2:30 p.m. Free. 594-5275.

5. April 27

Walk 3 miles and raise money to support programs that help moms have healthy, full-term pregnancies. The March for Babies starts at 8 a.m. at Reid Park, South Country Club Road and East 22nd Street. Go to marchforbabies.org to register. Free. 298-5490.
