Tucson East Elks Lodge No. 2532 is holding a free bingo event and luncheon for disabled and wounded veterans.

The Wounded and Disabled Veterans Bingo Bash will be 1-5 p.m. Nov. 23 at Tucson East Elks Lodge, 615 S. Pantano Road.

November is the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks’ “Veterans Remembrance Month.”

The Tucson East lodge is inviting disabled and wounded vets and one guest/assistant each for an afternoon of fun, food and bingo. A six-pack of bingo cards and one dauber for each person will be provided at no charge. Additional cards will be available to purchase.

There will be cash prizes for each game ranging from $20 to $100, with a special coverall game for a larger cash prize, along with raffle prizes.

The event also will include a free buffet meal of sloppy joes, coleslaw, relishes and other treats made by lodge members. Lunch will be served, followed by bingo.

Lodge members will be available to help veterans get food and play games.

Veterans who would like to attend are asked to make reservations by calling Marty Benoist at 471-2127. Seating is limited, so make reservations early. All guests must be at least 18 years old to play.
