The Tucson Unified School District Governing Board approved the hirings of two directors, a principal and a project manager Tuesday night.
The administrative appointments are as follows:

- Herman House, longtime director of TUSD's interscholastics department, has been serving in an interim capacity as director of high schools in secondary leadership. He was appointed director of secondary schools. The interscholastics director position will not be filled. Rather, a coordinator will take over those duties.

- Renée LaChance, director of employee management systems in the Scottsdale Unified School District, was named project manager of TUSD's enterprise resource planning system. The ERP is designed to replace the district's paper-driven processes in finance, human resources, payroll and other areas.
