Virtual reality class at Gridley airs on CBS
TUSD's Gridley Middle School was highlighted on "The CBS Evening News."
The story, which aired Tuesday, featured the school's virtual-reality class in which students design and model their virtual-reality projects such as vehicles or even food.
The pilot program was developed with Raytheon.

Focus on finance garners scholarship
A Tucson High Magnet School graduate was awarded a $5,000 financial literacy scholarship.
Brandon Patino, who will attend Northern Arizona University in the fall, was recognized by the Financial Services Roundtable Scholarship Foundation.
The scholarship was awarded to 15 students across the country who are studying finances.
