Tucson High Magnet School is hosting an anti-bullying forum Tuesday for parents in the Tucson area.

The forum is scheduled for 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Tucson High cafeteria, 400 N. Second Ave.

It is designed to inform parents about anti-bullying programs launched at Tucson High; how to help children if they become involved in any type of bullying; and how to get involved in the discussion on stopping bullying.

Sheri Bauman, a University of Arizona professor and national expert on bullying, will be the keynote speaker.

Tucson High Social Worker Bonnie Kneller, Tucson High Psychologist Katharine Leonard, Tucson High Assistant Principal Carlos Armendariz, students and others will present information about bullying and the effect it has on students and schools.

Parents do not need to have a child enrolled at Tucson High to attend. The event is presented by the Badger After-School Program.
