TUSD is releasing students early from two schools today because of the rainy weather and the concern for flooding near the schools.

Vesey Elementary, 5005 S. Butts Road, has already released its students.

At Banks Elementary, 3200 S. Lead Flower Ave., some students who live in certain areas prone to flooding are being released early today.

Both schools are on the southwest side in areas prone to flooding. About half-an-inch of rain has fallen in the Tucson area by noon.
