A Sabino High School graduate was awarded a $1,000 agriculture scholarship.

Maya Wallace plans to study agricultural education at the University of Arizona. She is one of 75 students receiving a CHS Foundation scholarship.

CHS Inc. is an agribusiness owned by farmers, ranchers and cooperatives across the United States.

“At CHS, we’re committed to developing strong future leaders for agriculture and rural America,” said William Nelson, CHS Foundation president and vice president of Corporate Citizenship.
