Six Tucson students are being recognized by Kohl’s Department Stores for their volunteer efforts.

Levi Fallavollita, 13; Beth Froio, 12; Lauren Heiser, 17; Joshua Kobs, 14; Emma Lock, 7; and Christopher Molander, 9, will each receive $50 gift cards and recognition certificates as part of the Kohl’s Cares Scholarship Program.

They, along with more than 2,300 others, now qualify for the chance to receive one of 200 regional scholarships worth $1,000. Of the regional winners, 10 national winners will be awarded $10,000 in scholarships each. Kohls will also donate $1,000 to a nonprofit organization on each national winner’s behalf.
