The Sunnyside Unified School District will go to voters in November to ask for a 12 percent budget override.

If approved by voters in the district, Tucson's second largest school district, the override would generate $9 million in the first year, to keep all-day kindergarten, among other goals.

The Sunnyside board voted 5-0 Monday night to put the override request on the November ballot.
