"Two Views," featuring the art of Fran McNeely and JoAnne Hungate, will be on exhibit at the Murphey Gallery at St. Philip's Church Sunday through June 11.

The showing will kick off with a reception from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday.

McNeely has been painting for five years. She has taken classes at Pima Community College, Tucson Oasis, The Learning Curve and The Drawing Studio and has studied with local, regional and nationally known artists.

McNeely is a signature member of the Contemporary Artists of Southern Arizona and has appeared in several juried shows over the past four years. She was also selected as a participating artist in the 2011 and 2013 Fresh Paint Show at the University of Arizona's Museum of Art.

Hungate has been painting most of her adult life in water media, assemblage and miniature art, including portrait and pet commissions and photography, and botanical watercolors. Her work has won awards and has been shown in juried exhibitions all over the United States.

Her paintings hang in collections in many parts of the United States, as well as Canada, Japan, Korea, Australia and New Zealand. Three of her paintings were on display under the ARTS in the Embassies U.S. Department of State program, and one was used in the 2012 State Department desk diary.

Murphey Art Gallery hours are 2-4 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, and noon-5 p.m. Sundays. The gallery may also be available during office hours Monday through Thursday; however, it is also a meeting room for various groups during the week and their needs take precedence.

Prospective visitors may check the calendar on St. Philip's website (www.stphilipstucson.org) to determine if the gallery is in use. There is no charge to view works at the gallery.

St. Philip's in the Hills Episcopal Church is at 4440 N. Campbell Ave. at East River Road. Parking is available in the north parking lot or under the solar covered parking structure on the east side. The office phone is 299-6421.
