Food trucks coming

to Rosemont church

A food-truck roundup will be part of an open house starting at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Rosemont Community Church, 5005 E. Winsett St.

Several food trucks will be parked at the front of the church selling their food, with plenty of parking for visitors in the back.

The public is invited to stop by, buy some food and find out about the church’s work. It’s involved with the Ronald McDonald House, Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona and Pennies for Goats, among other efforts. The church facility also is open to other nonprofit organizations for a small fee. Groups that meet there include Al-Anon, China Painters, Take Off Pounds Sensibly and the Rosemont West Neighborhood Association.
