If you didn't have grandparents with a farm, you still have a chance to capture some of the magic.

The second in an ongoing series of Family Fun on the Farm Fridays was last week at the Tucson Village Farm, 4210 N. Campbell Ave. The series continues 4-6 p.m. Fridays.

The event attracted plenty of city-dwelling parents with kids in tow. Activities included opportunities for children and adults to pick vegetables, work in the gardens, "milk" a mechanical cow, clean a tractor, try samples from the gardens, buy the farm's produce and view cooking demonstrations. The evening was capped off with a movie, "Charlotte's Web," shown under the stars.

The series is a program of the University of Arizona College of Agriculture and Pima County Cooperative Extension through the UA and is sponsored in part by Skarsgard Farms. For more information, go to tucsonvillagefarm.org online.
