The National Weather Service in Tucson issued a flash flood warning for northeastern Pima County until 4:30 p.m. today,

The warning includes Mount Lemmon/Summerhaven, Sabino Creek and Catalina State Park.

An automated rain gauge on Mount Lemmon has recorded more than two inches of rain in about 90 minutes, according to the National Weather Services and additional rainfall amounts of up to one inch are possible.

The National Weather Service recommends that those in the warning area move to higher ground immediately and not try to cross swiftly flowing waters or waters of unknown depth by foot or car.
