The Brandeis National Committee will host its annual University on Wheels at 9 a.m. Feb. 7 at Skyline Country Club, 5200 E. St. Andrews Drive.

Every year Brandeis University presents a lecture for the local chapter of the Brandeis National Committee and the community. Proceeds from the event will go to Brandeis University for advancing research in diseases of aging and related scholarships.

This year's speaker is Scott Edmiston, director of the Office of the Arts at Brandeis University in Waltham, Mass. He will speak on "Truth or Beauty: The Need for Art in the 21st Century."

Edmiston founded the Office of the Arts at Brandeis after more than 25 years as an artist, educator, administrator and arts advocate at universities and nonprofit organizations throughout the Northeast. In addition to his duties as director of the Office of the Arts, he teaches dramatic literature in the Brandeis Department of Theater Arts.

Breakfast will be served. Cost is $18 for Brandeis National Committee members and $20 for guests.
